Discovery Foundation Supports NHS Tayside Charitable Foundation with Tablet Donation
Three tablets donated to support local patients, as the Discovery Foundation explores further opportunities to work alongside NHS Tayside Charitable Foundation.
The Discovery Foundation has donated three tablets to NHS Tayside Charitable Foundation, providing practical support for patients and opening the door to a wider partnership between the two organisations.
Representatives James Bryceland and Kate recently met with the charity’s fundraising team to learn more about its work across Tayside and discuss how the Discovery Foundation could contribute to its ongoing activities.
The three tablets will help support patients, with NHS Tayside Charitable Foundation now liaising with Ward 26 to arrange their use.
Building a lasting partnership
The meeting also provided an opportunity to explore how the Discovery Foundation could become more involved in the charity’s fundraising and community activities.
Discussions included participation in upcoming fundraising events, such as the charity’s Mast Climb, opportunities for Discovery employees to volunteer within its retail operations, and potential sponsorship of events including its Dance Show.
These activities would allow the Foundation to extend its support beyond financial and equipment donations, contributing time, resources and practical assistance to initiatives benefiting patients and communities throughout Tayside.
Gillian Moran, Fundraising Development Manager at NHS Tayside Charitable Foundation, welcomed the donation and expressed enthusiasm about the potential partnership.
