Impact

Discovery Foundation is newly established — and we’re just getting started.
Our founder, James Bryceland, and the team at Discovery Fire Sprinklers have spent years supporting the causes closest to their hearts — from cancer charity events to sponsoring local clubs and individuals across Dundee and Scotland. Discovery Foundation was created to build on that commitment properly: giving it a dedicated structure, its own funding, and independent governance, so support reaches further and lasts longer.
As we launch, our focus for the year ahead is to:

• Fund our first round of grassroots and community grants across Dundee, Glasgow and Aberdeen
• Establish an annual partnership with a burns unit or burns care charity
• Support James’s endurance and fitness challenges as official Foundation fundraising activity, with proceeds recorded and reported transparently
• Publish our first Annual Report, setting out exactly what’s been funded and what difference it made
